Based on his own experience, our Master will address the issues involved when serious illness and eventual death occurs in a Master/slave household. The presenter will discuss the process including preparing yourself, deterioration of the loved one, and realization of the outcome, the reversal of roles, emotions and grieving, dealing with biological family, aftermath, memories and legacy. This is a very emotional issue but it presents the reality of life and death that we all have to face.
Many people in our community have experienced some form of polyamorous relationship. These relationships can be extremely fulfilling or extremely damaging depending upon how they are managed. Six people share how they have gained strength, trust and family through their mutual polyamorous ties.
is an interactive discussion on how to best integrate this lifestyle within the confines or parameters of a household with children. It will contain topics like: What to say and when to say it, how do you explain a permanent or semi permanent houseguest, or why doesn't the neighbors have two or three families in the same house? This should prove to be a lively Socratic discussion, filled with many questions and audience participation.
While engaging in SM is not a prerequisite for a Master/slave relationship, the judicious incorporation of SM into the relationship can be a powerful tool for the growth of both the slave and the Master alike. However, contrary to the stereotype SM need not-and in most cases should not-be used as a form of punishment. What, then, must be a Master's primary intention for using SM in this context? Which SM practices have the greatest potential for deepening a slave's submission and obedience? How does "safe, sane and consensual" factor into the equation? In this presentation Master Skip will address the many issues that arise when, in consensual Mastery and slavery, SM shifts from being a radical sexual practice to a legitimate developmental practice.
This talk addresses the role of spirituality in the Master slave Dynamic. Both our guests believe that spirituality is a strong base for both Master and slave. They will discuss the use of a spiritually based training program in their Household and use that as a basis for continuing onto a workshop with audience participation.
Whether it's Master/Mistress and slave, Daddy and boy/boi, Dom and sub or any other D/s relationship, many of the expectations and desires of the participants often go unmet. Why is it that most of our kinky couplings end after a relatively short amount of time? Is it only our sexual appetites that drive us to enter into these relationships, or is there a deeper longing at play? Join Master Skip as he explores the archetypal nature of D/s relationships and facilitates a discussion of ways to sustain and deepen these relationships when the honeymoon is over.
